Continuity Productions is a video production company based in Brooklyn, NY. We were born out of the desire to help small businesses and artists engage with their community through a video approach. The team, though slim, is professional and passionate. The core team is Nieves Garcia Perchin (Producer, Director, and Editor) and Chase Shamlian (Cinematographer, Colorist, Producer). We both work professionally in the film industry as freelancers as well. This is how we know other freelancers that we may hire for your video (i.e. sound mixer, makeup artist, camera assistants...) depending on the needs and scale of your project. We decided to team up since our skills are complimentary and necessary to achieve the level of quality required for your video.

When you schedule a free consultation with us, you get the chance to explain to us your business, your brand values and what part of your business you want us to focus on. Once we have this information we can: Offer some broad creative ideas that focus on your strengths as a business. Identify the target market and therefore the tone and demographics the video should aim for. Determine broad logistics (i.e. how many shooting days, general equipment list, talent needs...) Come up with an approximate budget for your project. Create a proposal with visual references and creative details. All this information will help you understand the needs of your video as well as give you a visual idea for the concept of your video. We are mostly focused on short format videos (<1 minute to 10 min) that are set to promote, engage, and advertise your brand/product/craft. From more emotionally driven stories to demonstration videos, we've got you covered.

Yes! We do carry your project from beginning to end. As part of the video production package, we offer full editing of the footage to the desired length, color grading, sound design, and music. We offer a playlist of songs that best fit the mood of your video for you to pick.

Our biggest stregth is that we have been working as film professionals before we decided to start Continuity Productions. We have experience as directors, producers, cinematographers, gaffers...etc. This knowledge makes us creative and resourceful, since we are fully aware of all the production needs. We rely on professional crew members to make sure we bring high production value to your video. We also promise great communication with our clients to make sure you are comfortable in every step of the process.
